Core Tip |
Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has established itself as a vital modality in the evaluation of numerous aspects of non-ischemic cardiomyopathies, ranging from establishing a diagnosis to detailed analysis of cardiac function. Lately, increasing data has become available regarding the clinical utility of CMR in the evaluation of these patients, although few articles have consolidated this these findings regarding CMR’s impact in these pathologies. This review will summarize current literature investigating the clinical impact of CMR on risk stratification, treatment, and prognosis in the setting of non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. |
