Symptomatic tumor or large ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) (≥ 20 mm) is often visualized on [F-18] fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG-PET/CT). This evidence suggests that large DCIS (≥ 20 mm) has possibility to be selected as target lesion on [F-18] FDG-PET/CT prior to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. |
