Core Tip |
Obstructive colorectal cancer (CRC) still have poor prognosis. However, the prognostic factor of obstructive CRC is unclear. The aim of this article is to clarify the long-term outcome and the risk factors for obstructive CRC at multiple institutions. The five-year disease free survival and cancer-specific survival were 50.6% and 80.3%, respectively. T4 tumor and R1 resection were independent prognostic factors for both recurrence and survival.
