| Core Tip |
Obesity leads to the development of chronic inflammation and insulin resistance (IR). Adipose tissue macrophages (ATMs) play a crucial role in the development of obesity-induced IR. Therefore, ATMs are attractive therapeutic targets for IR. Recently, we demonstrated that the ubiquitin ligase Casitas b-lineage lymphoma-b (Cbl-b) negatively regulates the migration and activation of ATMs. Here, we review key aspects of Cbl-b function in the regulation of ATMs. |
