The levels of CD44 and miR-145 are related strongly to stemness properties in gastric cancer. The aim of this investigation was to determine the underlying molecular mechanism involved in this relationship. The findings demonstrated that miR-145 regulates CD44 expression by directly targeting its 3’-untranslated region, which might play a critical role in the regulation of tumor growth and chemo-resistance in gastric cancer. |
