| Core Tip |
Unlike gastrointestinal carcinomas, lymph node metastases rarely develop in patients with malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs). We report a patient with a jejunal GIST who developed supraclavicular lymph nodes metastasis and review the related literature. We conclude that lymphatic diffusion via mediastinal lymphatic station to the supraclavicular lymph nodes can be a potential metastatic route of GISTs.
