Goblet cell carcinoid is a much more aggressive tumor than classic carcinoid, particularly if the tumor shows transmural involvement or if it has extended to the cecum at the time of the operation. This paper presents three cases clinical and histopathological features. Two were diagnosed as goblet cell carcinoid tumor and one was diagnosed as mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma. |
