Core Tip |
Cell cycle-related and expression elevated protein in tumor (CREPT) is an oncogene preferentially expressed in diverse human tumors. Overexpression of CREPT promotes cell proliferation and tumorigenesis. However, the expression and mechanistic involvement of CREPT in colorectal cancer is not fully investigated. Despite tremendous advances in exploitations and clinical applications of 5-Fluorouracil has been achieved in the past decades, drug resistance remains a significant limitation to the clinical use. In another word, the prognostic biomarker for administration of this drug is still in urgent need. |
