Core Tip |
Complex knee injuries pose a difficult problem while the treatment remains controversial. There are only few studies with long-term follow-up and with homogenous sample, regarding the timing of operation, the type of the graft and the type of reconstruction. In our study with a long-term follow-up, we have operated all the patients in the acute phase, using a standardized protocol regarding the technique, the type of the graft and the postoperative rehabilitation. Furthermore we have excluded the knee dislocations with vascular injuries, since these injuries have a different prognosis and they consist a separate category. |
