| Core Tip |
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is a common infection that can cause gastric and extragastric diseases. A considerable amount of evidence links H. pylori infection with extragastric diseases, and in many of these diseases there is a clear beneficial effect of eradication therapy. This review summarizes the H. pylori-related extragastric manifestations of major interest that have been reported in the scientific literature, such as neurological, dermatological, hematologic, ocular, cardiovascular, metabolic, allergic and hepatobiliary disease manifestations. |
