This study reports the successful imple¬mentation of a transabdominal preperitoneal procedure with self-gripping mesh for the management of a bilateral lumbar hernia. There were no adverse events, chronic pain or recurrence occurring in any of the patients. The findings confirm the safety and feasibility of the technique, and support the application of the laparoscopic approach for bilateral lumbar hernia repair. |
