Core Tip |
Acute kidney injury early post liver transplantation is a major cause of morbidity and mortality. The etiology is multifactorial. The renal hypoperfusion and hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury are being increasingly recognized. Further studies need to focus on therapies that would attenuate this injury. |
