Core Tip |
Transduodenal ampullectomy (TDA) is still an effective treatment method and is of great clinical value in cases of duodenal benign tumors, precancerous lesions, and benign and malignant borderline tumors. To investigate surgical method choices and the coincidence rate of pathological diagnosis in TDA, we retrospectively analyzed 10 patients with ampullary neoplasm who accepted TDA based on the fact that their endoscopic biopsy results showed benign lesions and the endoscopic ultrasound-assessed tumors were resectable. The coincidence rate of the postoperative pathology results, the intraoperative frozen-section pathology results and the endoscopic biopsy results are the restraining factors of TDA clinical application. |
