Core Tip |
An alternative approach may be early limited resective surgery in a well-selected group of patients with Crohn's disease. In this population-based study, we found that overall exposure to steroids and biological agents was lower in patients with early limited resective surgery; observed surgery rates were also lower, yet reoperation rates did not differ in the two groups after matching on propensity scores. |
