Ultrasound-guided fascia iliaca compartment block combined with general anesthesia can provide better intraoperative analgesia for thigh surgery, reduce the dosage of general anesthetics, and alleviate the adverse cardiovascular effects caused by pain stress. In this case report, we describe the effects of fascia iliaca compartment block in a patient with myocardial infarction who underwent emergency middle thigh amputation. Use of this block ensured the safety of the patient during the perioperative period. |
