Core Tip |
The potential role of chronic inflammation in the development of cancer has been widely recognized. However, the molecular link between hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has not been fully and thoroughly explored. Therefore, the study analyzed the molecular processes of HBV-HCC in a multidimensional approach to elucidate the molecular links between the two groups. The results suggested that the persistent inflammatory environment of HBV can be used as an important risk factor to induce the occurrence of HCC, which is supported by molecular evidence. |
