Core Tip |
As a supplement to recent guideline, this manuscript demonstrates that lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio could effectively differentiates the survival outcome between self-expanding metal stents and emergency surgery in obstructive colon cancers. Self-expanding metal stents might be preferred to “potential benefit group” that with a low ratio of preoperative lymphocyte-to-monocyte (< 1.67). |
