Core Tip |
Intussusception in adults is an important etiology to consider in patients with acute abdominal pain; the cause may be a neoplasm, which can function as a lead point, and timely imaging is vital for the diagnosis. This case report describes a 40 years-old female with multiple emergency department visits for abdominal pain with a known gastric antral mass. The patient was ultimately diagnosed with a gastric-gastric intussusception and a gastric neuroendocrine tumor as a lead point. |
