Core Tip Gastrointestinal (GI) discomforts were common in Chinese urban elders. Female, lower education level, and lower family income were associated a more sever of GI discomforts. Having a chronic disease and having a GI-related disease were associated with GI discomforts. GI discomforts were associated with the choice of food.
