Core Tip |
It has been found in clinics that community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) can be complicated with rhabdomyolysis (RM), and that RM symptoms are subtle and easy to miss. Most local and international studies have been published as case reports, lack of systematic research. We retrospectively reviewed the clinical characteristics, test parameters, and prognoses of patients with CAP complicated with RM. The results were compared with RM caused by strenuous exercise, a common cause of RM requiring admission. The purpose was to understand the characteristics of RM caused by CAP so as to improve its diagnosis and treatment. |
