Core Tip |
Here in our study, we discuss a step by step procedure and results for the extraction of PCR friendly DNA from archived hematoxylin and eosin stained tissue slides. Such extracted DNA has the potential to be used for further molecular analyses such as mutation studies, whole genome sequencing and even to identify difference in gene signatures between diseased and normal state. Our protocol is simple, cost-effective and can be performed in a basic molecular biology lab with most common reagents. |
