Core Tip |
Noninvasive imaging methods are required for the early diagnosis and severity assessment of hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS). This study showed that liver stiffness on supersonic shear wave imaging was significantly elevated as hepatic SOS progressed in rabbit model. In addition, as hepatic SOS progressed, perfusion parameters measured on dual energy computed tomography were significantly elevated. We suggested that quantitative imaging with supersonic shear wave imaging and dual energy computed tomography could aid in the early diagnosis of hepatic SOS. |
