Core Tip |
The functioning capacity and recovery potential of adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (ASCs) were demonstrated in terms of the stem cell yield, proliferation and adipogenic differentiation capabilities in breast cancer patients after exposure to neoadjuvant therapies (NAC) treatment. Compared to the no receiving NAC patients, the numbers of ASCs yield were not altered in patients after received NAC treatment. The proliferation rates of ASCs from received NAC patients were also not effected upon cultured in vitro, and these cells appeared to retain the differentiation capacity to acquire adipocyte traits simile to those ASC obtained from the no receiving NAC patients. |
