Core Tip |
Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors all over the world. And neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) is increasingly used as the standard treatment for most esophageal cancer patients. However, the optimal time interval for esophagectomy after nCRT in patients with esophageal cancer has not been defined. Therefore, we researched 12621 patients from 16 studies through meta-analysis to evaluate whether a prolonged time interval from the end of nCRT to surgery has an effect on survival outcome in esophageal cancer patients. |
