Core Tip |
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has shown its therapeutic potential in IBD. Transendoscopic enteral tubing (TET) has been used in China as a novel delivery route for fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT). Perception and attitude towards FMT and TET by physicians and patients play an important role in determining its acceptability. We investigated Chinese inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients’ attitude towards FMT and TET, also examined their preference of FMT delivery way. This is the first large-scale study of IBD patients’ perceptions and attitude towards FMT and TET in an Asian country. |
