Core Tip |
There is debate between orthopaedic surgeons regarding proper treatment for length unstable femoral fractures in patients between the ages of 5 and 11. In our manuscript we present results demonstrating that flexible intramedullary nailing in this subset of patients is an effective form of treatment and compares well to other forms of treatment for this subset of patients. Our results also compare favorably to those from recently published literature pieces on this same subject. |
