Core Tip |
Prediction of survival after the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been widely investigated yet remains inadequate. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) is an emerging adjunct to traditional statistics due to its ability to process vast amounts of data and find hidden interconnections between variables. The current study aimed to assess the role of various methodologies of AI in the prediction of survival after treatment of HCC by performing a systematic review of the literature. |
