| Core Tip |
Periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics (PAOO) has been widely used in the treatment of patients with periodontal diseases and dental malformation. However, the combined therapy with autologous platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and PAOO in orthodontic practice has been rarely reported. The aim of this case report was to evaluate clinical and radiographic outcomes of PAOO combined with autologous PRF in an adult patient with class I malocclusion with thin periodontal biotype and buccal plate deficiency, in order to provide guidance for the future clinical diagnosis and treatment. |
