Contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a new imaging method powerful in the visualization of vascularization and analysis of perfusion of organs and neoplasms. The application for the study of pancreatic diseases is of extreme interest. CEUS quantitative perfusion analysis can provide objective parameters for the characterization of masses detected by means of an ultrasound situation that is particularly common in European and Asian countries. |
