Impaired vision is one of the clinical manifestations of a germinoma, and most of the reduction in visual acuity is caused by compression of the optic chiasma. We present a case of impaired vision caused by a germinoma and perioptic meningeal seeding, which is extremely rare. The findings of this case study emphasize that children with diabetes insipidus need a complete differential diagnosis. |
