An acute respiratory illness, provoke by a novel coronavirus (coronavirus disease 2019, COVID-19) has spread across China in late December 2019 and become pandemic. The present review is focused on musculoskeletal sign and symptoms in reference to COVID-19 infection. Furthermore, a hypothetical pathway showing the hypoxia-inducible factors induced hypoxic conditions with their down flow changes in musculoskeletal system during severe COVID-19 infection was discussed. |
