Core Tip |
This case highlights the difficulties that may be encountered in the management of patients with Meigs syndrome, including potential misdiagnosis of tuberculosis or malignant diseases that may influence the medical and surgical approach. Although initial suspicions of malignancy in patients with undiagnosed pleural effusion and elevated CA-125 level, Meigs syndrome should be considered in the differential diagnosis. |
