Core Tip |
This study verified the specificity of endothelin (ET)-traps, which are an Fc-based fusion protein that acts as a potential therapeutic for various cET-1 related disorders, including diabetes and chronic kidney disease. ET-traps, unlike ET receptor antagonists, do not completely block the ET system and hence have minimal side effects. ET-traps would help save millions of lives around the world. |
