| Core Tip |
Preschool children often provide inappropriate descriptions or cannot express their pain clearly, and if a foreign body is not visible on initial physical examination and a remnant foreign body remains hidden, it could be a high possibility of life-threatening complications and sequelae due to delayed diagnosis and treatment. This case report may provide an appropriate treatment for traumatic carotid artery injury in children. |
