The present study explores the issue that whether posttraumatic growth (PTG) and PT stress disorder (PTSD) have a common underlying mechanism via self-compassion and resilience. It is the first study that examined the mechanisms underlying the association of domestic violence with PTG and PTSD among college students during the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic, so it provides insights on the development of PTG and PTSD in the context of a global pandemic, which emphasize unique psychosocial dynamics. |
