Immunotherapy has demonstrated effectiveness in treating several solid tumors and has become a major revolution in oncology. In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, however, the outcomes continue to be poor due to its special immune response and microenvironmental characteristics. In this review, we summarize the most important concepts of the immune system and the current landscape of immunotherapy in pancreatic cancer. |
