Inverted Meckel’s diverticulum is an uncommon disease with a wide spectrum of accompanying non-specific symptoms. We present herein, a case of an iron deficiency anemia with a negative endoscopic study, in which capsule endoscopy played a key role to confirm the diagnosis of inverted Meckel's diverticulum. Since it is an uncommon disease with few cases described in the literature, this report aims to contribute more information concerning the clinical characteristics, radiological and capsule endoscopy findings of inverted Meckel’s diverticulum that can help clinicians make the correct diagnosis. |
