| Core Tip |
Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) is a powerful imaging modality used in defining cardiac tissue characterization. As the prevalence and incidence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to rise, the utility of CMRI in defining COVID-19 related myocardial damage is growing. This review discusses the impact of CMRI in diagnosing myocardial involvement in acutely ill and recovered COVID-19 patients as well as its implications for patient management. |
