Core Tip |
Second generation Bicruciate retaining total knee arthroplasty (BCR TKA) are designed to overcome the historical durability issues of this implant. Recent kinematics studies point out the advantage of this design in mimic normal knee motion. Second generation BCR TKA are generally associated with a more restrictive indication range in term of coronal alignment, anterior cruciate ligament integrity and preoperative range of motion. Available clinical results report variable outcomes with short-term follow-up. |
