Core Tip |
Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) infection is associated with significant morbidity and mortality because it can progress to cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma. Early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis in CHB patients is important to prevent the disease progression. Non-invasive diagnosis has been developed remarkably and showed high diagnostic accuracy for cirrhosis. New methods and the combination of non-invasive diagnosis tools may contribute to the improvement to diagnose the cirrhosis with CHB.
