Core Tip |
The complex and dynamic process of bone tissue engineering is a challenging field in regenerative medicine. Current research is focused on the optimization and facilitation of bone regeneration by combining growth factors and mesenchymal stem cells with the many types of materials that have been studied as scaffolds. This review presents an overview of ideal scaffold properties and discusses the application of adipose-derived stem cells in bone tissue engineering and translational medicine. |
