Core Tip |
Previous results of preclinical and case studies showed the effectiveness of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) transplantation to stroke patients. In this case study, the patient who suffered from acute ischemic stroke was successfully treated using allogenic, minimally manipulated human umbilical cord-derived MSCs. This is the first report of using minimally manipulated human umbilical cord-derived MSCs to treat acute ischemic stroke. |
