Core Tip |
Sjogren’s syndrome (SS) is known for its involvement in exocrine glands, and may also involve extraglandular organs. Interstitial lung disease is the most common pulmonary abnormality in primary SS, but pulmonary amyloidosis is rare. In addition, the incidence of benign monoclonal gammopathy in SS patients is relatively high, but multiple myeloma is very rare. Herein, we report the extremely rare case of simultaneous pulmonary amyloidosis and multiple myeloma in the same patient with SS. |
