Core Tip |
Esophageal bronchial artery fistula is an extraordinary rare cause of upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Herein, we describe a previously unreported case of a fistula formation between the esophagus and a nonaneurysmal right bronchial artery, in the setting of palliative esophageal metallic stenting and previous left pneumonectomy. Haemostasis was effectively achieved by the use of esophageal restenting followed by right bronchial artery embolization. |
