This study revealed a molecular regulation mechanism of O6-Methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) gene upregulation in the early stage of tumor development, and improved the understanding of dynamic changing of MGMT expression in different stages of tumor development, providing a new entry point for further study of the expression mechanism of key regulatory genes in the process of chemical carcinogenesis. |
