Core Tip |
In this study, we demonstrate that (1) infiltrated monocytes is a major source of hepatic inflammation which has decisive effect for VFH pathogenesis, and (2) viral infection induces Fgl2 expression on macrophages, which is required for maintaining the inflammatory phenotype and function, and (3) Fgl2 builds a positive feedback loop of inflammatory cascade in macrophages in response to viral infection. |
