Synovial chondromatosis accompanied with subluxation of the humeral head without history of trauma is rarely encountered and, to our knowledge, there are no reports yet of this condition. We report cases that had synovial chondromatosis accompanied with subluxation of the humeral head and it is the first to describe. Arthroscopic management was successful in patients with synovial chondromatosis combined with subluxation of the shoulder. Biomechanical working of the shoulder joint was ignored synovial chondromatosis diagnosis and it is necessary paid attention to, especially with the emergence of loose bodies such as in synovial chondroma occurring in rare sites. |
