Pediatric hematolymphoid malignancies commonly are leukemias, lymphomas, and Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Their gut and liver involvement are seldom discussed due to a lack of literature in children. Manifestations result from infiltration, compression, overwhelmed immune system, and chemotherapy-induced drug toxicities. In this review, we will discuss the diverse abdominal manifestations and challenges from a pediatric gastroenterologist’s perspective. |
