Core Tip |
IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is a common primary glomerular disease leading to end-stage renal disease with poor prognosis. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an alternative treatment for IgAN. Professor Yan-Qin Zou, one of the National Chinese Medicine Masters, has accumulated rich and unique experience in TCM diagnosis and treatment of nephropathy. This case report analyses an IgAN patient receiving TCM treatment with satisfying clinical efficacy. Professor Zou’s therapeutic strategy to treat IgAN using TCM was efficacious and a good reference for clinical application. |
