Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are mostly benign and they rarely develop in the mesentery and cause sarcomatosis. The favored treatment strategy is whole-tumor excision with continued follow-up. According to a literature review, our patient is the first case report of mesentery SFT with the presentation of postoperative intraperitoneal recurrence and sarcomatosis. |
